Limited Time: 50,000 US Airways Mastercard Offer*

US Airways

Use my referral link to apply for the US Airways World Premium MasterCard today!

*UPDATE: This offer has expired as this card is no longer available.

The US Airways World Premium MasterCard has had a variety of sign-up bonuses over the past year. I have the card myself, having applied when the bonus was at 40k. I wish I had waited, so I could have taken advantage of the current 50k offer! This is a limited-time offer. Also, because of the US Airways/American Airlines merger, the card itself will not be available much longer. Once the two programs merge next year, any US Airways miles you’ve earned will be converted to American Airlines miles. Because of this and the ability to apply for the American Airlines branded cards, you could possibly rack up a LOT of miles.

Hawaii in September…For Free? Step 1

My recent round-trip flight from NYC to Quito, Ecuador was $25.00. Seriously: $25.00. Sure, I collected airline points and miles in the past, but I never had enough to actually take a trip. To be able to travel is everything to me, and to think I could make a dollar stretch even more…very exciting.

Review: Travellers Inn Hostel in Quito, Ecuador

For years I’ve books hostels through Hostels.com. Travellers Inn, located in Quito, Ecuador, was no exception. I booked the Standard Single Private Shared Bathroom for $19 per night, tax included. Totaling $57.00 for three nights: November 14 – 17, 2014. The site requires a 15% deposit and the remainder is due upon arrival.

The morning after booking the room, I received an email from Travellers Inn, welcoming me, listing services they provide (tour packages and Spanish lessons), and outlining various methods of transportation between the airport and the hostel: transfer service provided by the hostel for $45, taxi for $26, and bus + taxi for $13. Since my flight landed at 11:30PM and customs would take time, I decided on the taxi. Less expensive than their transport but still simple. The actual cost was $25, and the ride was almost an hour.
